Morcos Lab
Evolutionary Information Lab
Our lab focuses on solving problems at the interface between biology, computation, mathematics and biophysics. The primary focus of the lab is the development and application of methods to extract biological information from sequence and genomic data in combination with physical models to study molecular evolutionary landscapes, biomolecular structure and function, macro-complex formation, specificity in biological networks and its applications to understand and fight disease.
Congratulation to Dr. Cheyenne Ziegler for successfully defending her Ph.D. thesis @UTD_Biology. I’m really proud of her accomplishments and excited for her next stage doing ML/Bio drug discovery!
